TRIP ITINERARY:


Day 1: Arrival at the Eduardo Gomez International Airport, Manaus-Brazil. The group will be met by the organizers.
Transfer by boat to the Taruma Sanctuary – Accommodations – Meeting with the Shamans - Welcome Ceremony.
The Taruma Sanctuary is a safe and supportive environment that provides an excellent surrounding for deep personal inner work, relaxation, reflection and energy renewal. This private preserved land will be our home base in the rainforest.

Day 2 and 3 : Medicinal and cleansing baths prepared by the Shamans with plants gathered in the forest. Intensive healing works with native medicine men; study of local medicinal herbs; ceremonies from the rainforest; traditional dances; individual healing sessions with the Shamans.
Meeting with Native Women:
Learn to create traditional beadwork jewelry using natural seeds and fibers.
Make a ceremonial mask with natural materials: seeds, fibers, barks, leaves.
Gathering: histories, legends

Day 4: Departure from Taruma by boat; Visit to the Bare’ Tribe; Interaction with the Bare’ Community; ceremonies and dances; lunch at the native community; return to Taruma in the afternoon; time to relax and share.

Day 5: VISIT TO NATIVE COMMUNITIES
The journey continues by riverboat for 3 days;
Terra Preta Community (Tucanos tribe): interaction with native people and handcrafts shopping.
Cambebas Community (Cuias Tribe): traditional dances, interaction with native people and children. Sharing donations.

Day 6:
Terra Viva Community: Visit to the local handicraft's school; hiking into the jungle;
Healing work with the medicine woman Bibi; medicinal baths at the riverbanks in front of the Rio Negro; evening healing sessions.


Day 7:
MEETING OF THE WATERS - Black River and Solimoes (Amazon River);
Participate in a traditional ceremony in front of the “Meeting of the Waters” ( a sacred space where the Rio Negro meet the Amazon River);
January Park: During the daytime the local fauna is very active; opportunity to enjoy the jungle wildlife.
In the evening, back to the Truma Base-camp.

Day 8: TARUMA
Workshop with Ipupiara; Visit to the local village; Meeting with a Seringueiro ; Farewell Fire Ceremony.

Day 9: Departure from Taruma by boat; Check-in at the Hotel in Manaus; free time to visit the local Market; Opera House; Museums; farewell dinner in Manaus.

Day 10: Breakfast at the Hotel; transfer to the airport.

BOOKING YOUR TRIP
A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 USD along with the registration form is required to ensure your place in this trip. Final payment is due 30 days prior to departure.
